RANCHO MURIETA NEIGHBORHOODS
Rancho Murieta was planned in the 1970s around golf, lakes and open space, and its areas differ by the era of their homes and their distance to the gates and the country club.
Murieta Hills and Rancho Murieta North
Murieta Hills is among the newer parts of Rancho Murieta, with builders such as Terrata Homes selling there. It sits in the northern part of the community near the Country Club, in an area also called Rancho Murieta North. The county has had a larger Rancho Murieta North plan under review, so more homes are planned in this part of the community.
The Fairways and the Country Club
Custom homes and older ranch-style homes from the 1970s onward surround the Rancho Murieta Country Club's North and South golf courses. The North Course opened in 1971 and the South Course in 1979. Tennis and pickleball courts are part of the club. Ask Eva how membership works for a specific home.
Murieta Village
Murieta Village is the age-restricted 55+ neighborhood in Rancho Murieta. It was the first residential development in the community, which opened in 1971 as a mobile home village. Listings there are mostly two-bedroom homes. Eva can confirm the current age rules and association details for any home before you tour.
Rancho Murieta South and the Lakes
Rancho Murieta South includes the Riverview area near Riverview Park on Reynosa Drive. Three lakes, Clementia, Chesbro and Calero, are fed by water from the Cosumnes River. Parks, streets and common areas throughout the community are kept up by the Rancho Murieta Association.
NEW HOMES IN RANCHO MURIETA

Murieta Hills by Terrata Homes
Terrata Homes lists Murieta Hills as a guard-gated community with four floor plans, from three to five bedrooms. The sales center is at 7116 Jared Sheldon Drive. Listed amenities include a playground, a splash pad, tennis, pickleball, bocce, sports fields and walking trails. Some plans are listed as move-in ready.
Haven at Murieta by Richmond American
Richmond American Homes lists Haven at Murieta with three- and four-bedroom single-family plans. The sales center is at 7407 Bird Loop. Plan names on current listings include the Cecily, a ranch-style layout, and the Adwell, a two-story plan. Availability changes often, so check with your agent and the builder for what is open today.
Toll Brothers at Rancho Murieta
Toll Brothers announced a Rancho Murieta community in January 2026 called the Robles Collection. Its future sales office is at Campos Verde and Puerto Drive, and the builder lists it as pre-selling by appointment with sales expected to begin in late 2026. Plans are one- and two-story single-family homes.
More Planned Homes and Riverview
Reynen and Bardis Homes planned Riverview in Rancho Murieta South, and the Rancho Murieta Association received its plans in 2021. A larger Rancho Murieta North plan has been under county review for hundreds of home lots. A new home purchase works differently from a resale, and the builder's sales office represents the builder. Bringing Eva with you from the first visit keeps the decisions yours.
