ANTELOPE NEIGHBORHOODS
Antelope covers about 7 square miles, and its areas differ by their distance to the main roads, the parks and the Placer County line.
Central Antelope and Antelope Community Park
Antelope Community Park on Palmerson Drive has a water park, softball fields and tennis courts, and Sunrise Recreation and Park District runs several smaller parks nearby. Neighborhoods in this part of the community include Antelope Meadows and Barrett Ranch.
Watt Avenue and the South Side
The south side runs along Antelope Road and Watt Avenue, close to Interstate 80. Shopping, groceries and the Watt/I-80 light rail station are all within a short drive. KB Home's The Preserve is here, east of Watt Avenue.
North Antelope and the Placer County Line
The northern edge of Antelope meets the Sacramento and Placer county line, about five miles from Roseville. Elverta Road crosses this part of the community, and Lone Oak Park sits on it. Lennar's Antelope North is a newer community in this area.
West Antelope and the Dry Creek Side
Dry Creek forms the western edge of Antelope, with Elverta and Rio Linda just beyond. Homes here sit closer to open space and the county's Dry Creek Parkway.
HOMES IN ANTELOPE
Antelope is mostly resale housing, built in stages from the late 1980s, with a few newer communities added in recent years.
Planned neighborhoods from the 1980s and 1990s
Most of Antelope began as a planned community in the late 1980s, mainly single-family homes along with apartments. Many neighborhoods carry their own names, such as Antelope Meadows, Barrett Ranch, North Country and Orchard Woods. Lot sizes and floor plans vary by neighborhood and by builder.
Single-Family Homes near Parks and Trails
Many Antelope streets sit within a short walk of a neighborhood park. Sunrise Recreation and Park District lists Almond Grove, Firestone, Tetotom, Blue Oak and Barrett Ranch parks, and the larger Antelope Community Park is on Palmerson Drive. A park nearby can shape which street you choose.
Townhomes, Cottages and Villas
Smaller-lot homes appear in Antelope as cottages, villas and townhomes. Names on listing sites include Cottages at Antelope Park, Cottages at The Preserve and Villas at The Preserve. These fit a buyer who wants less yard to maintain. Eva can compare them with single-family resale homes.
New Homes in Antelope North and The Preserve
As of October 2026, Lennar lists Antelope North with Calabria II and Windsor collections of all-electric single-family homes. KB Home lists Cottages at The Preserve and Villas at The Preserve. New home purchases work differently from resales, and the builder's sales office represents the builder. Bringing Eva from the first visit keeps the decisions yours.
