Getting Around
Interstate 5 runs along the east side of Greenhaven with interchanges at Florin Road and Pocket Road, and downtown is about ten minutes north by car. Greenhaven Drive loops through the neighborhood, Riverside Boulevard runs north toward Land Park, and Florin Road crosses the north end. SacRT buses run on Greenhaven Drive, Riverside Boulevard and Florin Road. There is no light rail in Greenhaven.
Parks, Shops and Daily Life
Lake Greenhaven is the center of the neighborhood, with homes on its shore and the Greenhaven Drive loop around it. Smaller parks are spread through the neighborhood, and the Sacramento River Parkway trail runs along the levee on the west edge. Belle Cooledge Park and the Belle Cooledge Library sit just north near Florin Road, and shopping centers at Florin Road and Greenhaven Drive and along Riverside Boulevard hold grocery stores, restaurants and services.

Greenhaven covers the northern part of the Pocket-Greenhaven area, between Florin Road and the streets around Gloria Drive. The Pocket lies directly south and has its own page. South Land Park and the Belle Cooledge area sit to the north, Meadowview is across Interstate 5 to the east, and the Sacramento River and the levee trail form the west edge.
